April 15, 2024

Finding influencers that align with your brand and won't blow your budget can be a challenge. Here are our top tips for finding influencers that are affordable and effective, if you're working with a tight budget.

Use Influencer Marketing Platforms

There are tonnes of influencer marketing platforms that connect businesses with influencers of all sizes and niches. Check out AspireIQ, Grin, and Influencer.co - they've got loads of influencers at different price points, making it easier for you to find one that suits your budget. Plus, some of these platforms come with tools that help you manage your influencer campaigns, track your results, and pay your influencers.

Look for Micro-Influencers

Consider working with micro-influencers. They're influencers with a smaller following, typically between 1,000 and 100,000 followers. But don't let their smaller following fool you - they still have a loyal and engaged audience that you can tap into. Micro-influencers are also more niche-focused and may have a dedicated following in a specific industry or interest, making them a great fit for coffee shop owners looking to reach a specific audience. So, if you’re looking for something a more affordable avenue than macro-influencers or celebrities, micro-influencers might be the way to go.

Check Out Hashtags

Another way to find affordable influencers is to search social media. Check out hashtags related to coffee or your local area and see who's posting content that aligns with your brand. You can also look for local bloggers or content creators who have a small following but are passionate about coffee. Don't be shy about reaching out to them directly to see if they'd be interested in collaborating with your coffee shop.

Reach Out to Your Customers

Don't forget about your customers! Your customers may already be posting about your coffee shop on social media. Look for user-generated content related to your cafe and see if any of those users have a following that aligns with your target audience. Slide into their DMs and see if they'd be interested in working with you.
